The History of St. Teresa’s Press
Founded in 1965 by the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Flemington, the first endeavors at St. Teresa’s Press were the making of hand-painted and hand-bound limited edition books. In 1980 we began printing notepapers and other books that featured quotations from Carmelite Saints. Most recently we publish the ‘Monastery Views’ series of blank note cards, featuring photographs from within our cloister walls.
All of the work at St. Teresa’s Press is carried out by the nuns, from the initial layout through printing, packing and final inspection.
The sale of our distinctive books and note cards help to support our community. These items can be purchased at our gift shop or here from our website. We appreciate your support.
Because of the recent change in postal rates, we no longer accept mail orders. Please use this online site for ordering our press items. Thank you.
