As our Foundress, St. Teresa of Avila, lay dying, she exclaimed, “I thank you, Lord, that I am a Daughter of the Church!” We, too, are Daughters of the Church, and for this reason we want to express our total support for the Church’s Supreme Pastor, Pope Francis.
Sadly, some in the Church distort his teaching to fit their own agenda. Others fail to understand his pastoral approach and call him a heretic and false prophet, and demand that he resign.
We, Daughters of Teresa and of the Church, raise our voices in gratitude to God for Pope Francis and his truly traditional teaching, and we pray that he may have a long ministry and many blessings as he seeks to bring each person to a vibrant relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ.
